You can duplicate Remembrances in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, just as you could could in the base game. This essentially gives you an opportunity to get multiple weapons or spells from a particular DLC Remembrance boss.

Unlike Elden Ring, however, there are no bell-clanging Wandering Mausoleums lurking in the shadow realm. Instead, there are stationary stone coffin altars scattered across the Shadow of the Erdtree map that are easy to access — especially if you’re progressing through Count Ymir’s questline.

Our Elden Ring guide will show you how to duplicate Remembrances in Shadow of the Erdtree, and all three locations you can find stone coffin altars to do so.

How to duplicate Remembrance in Elden Ring DLC

"A

Similar to the Wandering Mausoleums in Elden Ring, you’ll need to interact with an altar that looks like a stone coffin with a headless corpse resting atop it. Unlike Elden Ring, you don’t need to take down the various Wandering Mausoleums to get access to these altars. Should you find one, you need only interact with it, selecting “Examine remains” to proceed. From there, you simply need to select which boss Remembrance you want to duplicate.

There are 10 new Remembrance bosses to fight in the Elden Ring DLC. Each stone coffin altar in Shadow of the Erdtree will only duplicate one Remembrance. After using one, they become inactive. There are three stone coffins in the shadow realm, meaning you can duplicate a total of three boss Remembrances.

Here’s where to find all three Remembrance duplication sites in Shadow of the Erdtree.

Finger Ruins of Rhia stone coffin altar location

"A

In Finger Ruins of Rhia, there’s a stone coffin altar on the southwest side of the crater, resting on a ridge. The closest site of grace is Finger Ruins of Rhia, which is accessible northeast from the Cerulean Coast Cross Site of Grace. The stone coffin altar location is surrounded by Fingercreepers of all sizes, so be careful how you approach it.

Finger Ruins of Dheo stone coffin altar location

"A

In Finger Ruins of Dheo, there’s a stone coffin altar on the northwest edge of the peninsula. Head east from the Fingerstone Hill Site of Grace to reach it. Again, watch out for nearby Fingercreepers.

Cathedral at Manus Metyr stone coffin location

"A

The third and final stone coffin altar Remembrance duplication site is southwest of the Cathedral at Manus Metyr. No Fingercreepers to worry about here, but there are some Marionette Soldiers nearby.
